Relay made it easier for more companies to reach you on mobile

A portal called “CX Builder” seeks to get companies set up with their own customer engagement solutions.

Radnor-based Relay, makers of a mobile customer engagement platform, recently launched an express on-ramp of sorts.

The company’s CX Builder is a self-serve portal that lets companies design and deploy their own personalized customer experiences within the Relay platform, which is used by corporates like Citizens Bank and Independence Blue Cross, to reach its customers. The portal went live Monday.

“We’re helping large enterprises stay ahead in fiercely competitive industries and deliver new and improved customer experiences that achieve key KPIs without ripping and replacing or one-off fixes,” said CEO Matt Gillin, who started the company in 2010.

To date, the company has raised $28 million in venture capital, with backing from First Round Capital and NewSpring Capital, including a $12 million Series B closed in June 2016.

The company has a team of 50 employees and says it’s onboarding 20,000 new users every day.
