Philly Startup Leaders has teamed up with PNC Bank to host StartUp Pitch Day, an event meant to give Philly startups the opportunity to connect with PNC executives.

The event will be held Wednesday, Aug. 30 at the WeWork at 1900 Market St., and applications are open now for interested startups to apply.

Apply

StartUp Day will give young companies the chance to reach a corporate audience that goes beyond the day-to-day interactions they have within coworking spaces or the confines of startup networking events. After reviewing all applications, the selected teams will be invited to meet with representatives from PNC’s local leadership team to pitch and discuss their company’s vision and receive feedback to strengthen the delivery of their products and services.

“Our goal with StartUp Day is to support innovation and foster inclusive relationships between PNC and the local tech startup community,” said Greg Payton, PNC’s vice president for program and performance management. “Following StartUp Day, PNC Tech Wish will be focused on mentoring tech startups, facilitating entrepreneurship workshops and sponsoring innovation programs.”

The event will give a deeper look into the diversity of Philly’s tech community and will provide the opportunity to bridge the gap between the city’s startups and larger enterprises. PNC and Philly Startup Leaders encourage all interested startup to apply. Selected applicants will be notified Aug. 22, so get to it!
