Cool talk alert: Comcast, SEPTA, Dow on turning data into revenue

RSVP for the free event happening May 17 at the Chamber of Commerce.

“If knowledge is power, your data is just a lump of coal.”

With this intriguing lede, the next event in the Fox Executive Strategy Series from Temple University’s Fox Management Consulting Group promises to yield lessons for turning all that data gathered by connected businesses into business growth.

According to spokeswoman Lonni Romirowsky, the event — titled “Why You Have Lots of Data and Not Insight” — aims to “bring together entrepreneurs and executives who have successfully leveraged data analytics” into better decisions and revenue growth.

Here’s the lineup of speakers:

  • Steve Boucher, Research Project Manager at The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia
  • Gerard Gober, Corporate Director of Digital Strategy and User Experience at Universal Health Services, Inc.
  • Erik Johanson, Director of Innovation, SEPTA
  • Ravi Kandikonda, Vice President, Marketing Analytics, Strategy & Operations, Comcast
  • Kathy Leeds Senavitis, Sr. Commercial Excellence Manager, The Dow Chemical Company
RSVP

The chat will be moderated by Becca Zinn, marketing director of the Fox Management Group; and Andrew Richardson, senior director of analytics at Delphic Digital (which is also sponsoring the event).
