Dream, Girl” is a documentary by Brooklyn-based filmmaker Erin Bagwell which showcases the stories of inspiring and ambitious female entrepreneurs.

And next Friday, April 7, you can catch a free screening of the documentary followed by a panel discussion, courtesy of Temple University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute and Temple’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Organization (WEO).

“The creators of the film raised $100,000 on Kickstarter and used an all-female crew to do the documentary,” said WEO’s entrepreneur in residence Candace Kilstein, who’s helping to organize the event. “It ended up making it to Oprah’s Supersoul 100 list and has been seen by 20,000 people in 81 countries.”

The film showcases the stories of five women entrepreneurs and the different events in their professional trajectory: from finding the courage to quit their 9-to-5s to securing their first round of funding for their ideas.
