There’s a day of free startup talks happening at Jumpstart Startup

Speakers include Benjamin's Desk co-CEO Anthony Maher and SeventySix Capital Managing Partner Wayne Kimmel.

That Walnut Street-based pop up shop for startups, Jumpstart Startup, is coming to life again with another iteration of its startup services fair from March 21 -24.

To kick off the four-day event, the shop — founded by Media, Pa.-based entrepreneur Jen Groover — lined up 16 speakers that will tackle a range of topics from media skills to personal branding on Wednesday.

Organizers shared with us the lineup of speakers, which includes some Philly tech faces like Benjamin’s Desk’s Anthony Maher and SeventySix Capital’s Wayne Kimmel.

Here it is:

9:30 – 10 a.m.: Jay Doran, Founder of Culture Matters: Creating an Culture for Ultimate Impact and Innovation.

10 – 10:30 a.m.: Wayne Kimmel, Author and Managing Partner at SeventySix Capital: Your Network is Your Net Worth: Mastering the Art of Leveraging Your Greatest Asset.

The conferences will give way to a three-day blitz of access to free advice and services like accounting, HR management, marketing and payroll. The first 1,000 businesses can get free headshots, business cards and access to coworking space sponsored by Benjamin’s Desk.

“I think many small biz are missing these services because they don’t know about them,” said Groover. “We wanted to curate brands that companies should know about. They can also learn about strategies like pitching the media and handling their finances all under one roof.”
