The competition for Least Worst Recruiter is shaping up to be fierce.

Awards are fun. Awards are dumb. Our first-ever NET/WORK Awards are both.

As you may recall, Technical.ly’s annual jobs fair is coming up soon (Feb. 7, see you there) and we wanted to try a lil something new. With all the hiring companies and job seekers in the room, why not we honor some of the Philly’s tech community’s best and brightest? Even office dogs deserve some recognition.

It won’t be scientific; it won’t be serious; it will be lighthearted.

We hope these wonky categories make that clear:

  • Best Internet Side Project
  • Best Philly Tech Twitter Account
  • Best Coworking Community Manager
  • Least Worst Recruiter
  • Best CTO
  • Best Meetup Organizer of the Year
  • Best Place to Learn
  • Best Work Slack Channel
  • Best Office Pet
  • Best Startupy Job Title

Now, we have some nominees in mind already, but we want to get ideas from you before we put this out for online voting. So now’s your chance. You have until Tuesday, Jan. 31 to submit your ideas. Winners will be announced at the event.
