Apps, gadgets and video games at Temple’s ‘Shark Tank’ casting call

Selected entrepreneurs will be notified in the next two weeks.

There’s a few dozen Temple University entrepreneurs holding their breath right now.
See, last Saturday, ABC’s Shark Tank rode into town, and held a casting call exclusive to entrepreneurs from Temple’s community. Professors, alumni and current students flocked to Fox School of Business’s Alter Hall.


After pitching their ideas to the show’s casting directors in no more than 60 (60!) seconds, the selected entrepreneurs will be notified within the next two weeks. Hope they don’t bite their nails too hard.
So who pitched? According to the Temple News, there was a “strategic mobile card-battler app,” a “cigarette smoke ring” and a “do-it-yourself communications strategy kit.”
