Next Wednesday, a local voice on tech and entrepreneurship will offer advice to Congress.
Drexel University’s Chuck Sacco, director of the Baiada Institute for Entrepreneurship, will be a panelist during an event called “Congressional Briefing: New Models For Tech Start-Up Funding & Economic Impact in Washington D.C.”
The panel, organized by Lnk Agency, is cosponsored by Rep. Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), and moderated by tech entrepreneurship advocate Lauren deLisa Coleman.
Sacco will join representatives from the White House, Microsoft and Silicon Harlem, in a discussion that aims to examine the current funding environment for tech startups and other ventures.
“This briefing will analyze current imbalances in the industry, psycho-social factors, impact on diverse demographics, current/new solutions and players in venture models, forecast, and U.S. economic impact,” reads the invite to the event, which is free and open to the public.
