Now that he’s mayor, he’s back for another round at Philly Tech Week 2016 presented by Comcast. (Remember how we said that Kenney was game to engage with the tech scene, though he admits tech is out of his comfort zone? This is a good example of that.)
Our mayoral town hall is on Monday, May 2 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Free Library’s Central Branch (1901 Vine St.). It’s free.
A panel of Philadelphia tech and entrepreneurship leaders will join Mayor Kenney on stage for a conversation about topics like economic development, the digital divide and open data. The panel features:
- Keith Leaphart, President & CEO, Replica Creative and Wallsome.net
- Bryan Mercer, Executive Director, Media Mobilizing Project
- Stephen Tang, President & CEO, University City Science Center
- Courtney Wilburn, Developer, O3 World
Audience members will have the chance to contribute their own questions via Twitter.
