O3 World built a bot to gracefully kick people out of meeting rooms

From O3 Labs, meet Roombot. Do not mess with Roombot.

Roombot says you gotta get outta that meeting room.

Fishtown web dev firm O3 World built a bot for all those times you’re waiting outside a meeting room because the earlier meeting is running late. It’s called Roombot and it uses the Google Calendar API and the Hue API (for those smartbulbs made by Philips).

It’s not afraid of confrontation.

O3 World’s O3 Labs was also behind this nifty tool that lets you have walk-up music.

So, colleagues who don’t respect the people standing outside the door are going to listen to a robot? If there’s not enough of a relationship between co-workers that one group ignores another, tech doesn’t make that better. There is something broken in that company culture that a technical medium isn’t going to improve.

    Great sense of humor!
