We talked about #PTW16 on Twitter and got some great ideas

If you didn't make it to the Twitter chat on Monday, no worries. Here's what's in store for Philly Tech Week 2016.

On Monday, Jan. 11, we hosted a Twitter chat dedicated to all things Philly Tech Week.

Now in its sixth year, #PTW16 is a weeklong celebration of innovation and technology organized by Technical.ly, which will take place April 29-May 7.

During the chat, the Technical.ly events team answered questions from community members while trying to connect those that were looking to collaborate with others. Most participants had multiple questions. The conversation (here it is in full) was exciting, to say the least.

We highlighted the basic details:

We shared the keys to a successful Philly Tech Week event:

We announced an amazing new partnership:

We saw the start of some promising collaborations:

Also, lots of overall excitement:

Last year, over 250 partners collaborated with community organizers to plan 150+ events that attracted 25,000 attendees to Philly Tech Week. Technical.ly organizers are psyched to collaborate with Philly’s tech community to help make #PTW16 even bigger and better.

Many thanks to all who participated in our Twitter chat. If you’re interested in hosting an event, check out our Event Organizer Guide for important dates and tips on making your event a hit.
