On the Market: Help produce RevZilla’s crazy popular YouTube channel

Plus: Help build a new predictive analytics product out of Wharton with members of the Monetate diaspora; be part of the city's effort to contract with more local tech companies; and work with Barcamp Philly cofounder JP Toto at his new gig.

RevZilla is kinda like our very own Top Gear. (Except, uh, not British.) And its reach might surprise you.

More than 173,000 fans tune in to watch the motorcycle-related reviews that the Navy Yard ecommerce company produces and posts on YouTube.

“We’re almost moving into being Consumer Reports for motorcycle gear,” RevZilla CEO Anthony Bucci told Philly Mag.

That’s why this job as a RevZilla’s video production coordinator looks so cool.

RevZilla has 10 people working on its video team, plus three on-air hosts.

If you’re more on the tech side of things, RevZilla also hiring a web developer and a senior product designer. Check out all the jobs here.

Wharton professor Pete Fader and his students cofounded a predictive analytics company called CLVmetrics and they’re now staffing up. They’re looking for backend and frontend engineers, plus data scientists. Equity is available. You’d be working with two ex-Monetate staffers: lead engineer Rob McGinley and COO Scott Samios. The company also just got funding from First Round Capital’s Dorm Room Fund.

ApprenNet, the edtech startup that recently raised $1.8 million, is making moves to scale: The company is hiring a director of corporate sales. (And also a UI designer.) Its team is split between Philly (in South Broad Street’s Industrious coworking space) and San Francisco. They apparently have an endless supply of jelly beans, as per the job description, so get on it.

SEER Interactive has a huge, flashy new office in a six-story building in Northern Liberties and is hiring for a bunch of roles, including three director roles: director of business strategy, of paid media and of analytics.

Linode, the South Jersey hosting company, got an equally flashy new office but this one’s on N3rd Street in Old City. They’re not moving in until at least a year, but just so it’s on your radar: they are hiring.

Remember when the city launched its BigIdeasPHL website, a place to post contracts worth less than $32,000? They hoped to engage more local tech companies and make the procurement process smoother. Well, the city wants to give it another go and make the site nicer. It’s currently running on WordPress.

The project is being funded by the $1 million grant that Bloomberg Philanthropies awarded the city for its FastFWD social good accelerator. Check out the RFP here. Proposals are due by Dec. 22.

Conshohocken fintech company eMoney Advisor scooped up Barcamp Philly cofounder and software engineer JP Toto (he was most recently at Wildbit). Toto will be working on a project to automate the deployment of eMoney servers. They’re also still hiring like mad.
