Yo, Mayor-Elect Jim Kenney will keynote our Rise civic innovation conference

Come Thursday, Dec. 3 and Friday, Dec. 4 to our Rise conference on civic innovation.

Philadelphia, like cities across the country, has an opportunity to enter into a new era of prosperity.
Enthusiasm is growing. But inequality persists. We must leverage what is working in our cities — like surging technology and entrepreneurship circles — to engage residents in shaping the best version of our communities for the future.
That’s the theme of Rise, our two-day conference on civic innovation that takes place at the end of next week. We want you there.

And, as if you weren’t already impressed by the speaker list, drawing throughout our mid-Atlantic markets and beyond, we’re proud to announce that Philadelphia Mayor-Elect Jim Kenney, who won in a coalition-led landslide, will be keynoting our first day, next Thursday.
This is your opportunity to hear how this city, like others, are preparing for the future. Tickets are $200 and include two dozen leaders from a variety of communities — plus lots of great food in the beautiful National Jewish American History Museum in Old City.
