Financial capital isn’t the only way women can invest in other women.

Angel investor Ellen Weber, who’s also Temple’s entrepreneurship head, spoke at TEDxWalnutStWomen earlier this summer about all the ways women can support women, including concrete tips on how to ask for introductions and how to get more women speakers at events, citing this story of ours on the IMPACT conference. She also bravely spoke about the end of her marriage (to fellow Philly tech entrepreneur, AgileSwitch CEO Rob Weber) and how the “emotional capital” from her friends helped get her through it.
