After self-publishing his book Traction, DuckDuckGo founder Gabe Weinberg is now publishing a second edition with Penguin.

It relaunches on Oct. 3 and you can get the first three updated chapters here for free. Weinberg co-wrote the book with Justin Mares.

Weinberg told us that Penguin (a member of publishing’s Big Four) reached out to him, though he was also¬†approaching publishers. Penguin’s interest was piqued when they saw his data-heavy writeup about Traction’s launch.
