A Philly designer made a watch face out of solid marble. Get it on Kickstarter

It's the latest from Lorenzo Buffa, the South Philly-based maker behind Analog Watch Co. Plus: Sign up for our newsletter for a chance to win a wooden watch ($149 value).

Lorenzo Buffa first brought us the world’s first flexible wooden watch.
Now, the Analog Watch Co. founder is back at it, with what he calls the world’s first watch face made out of solid marble. He launched the project on Kickstarter (like he did with the popular wooden watch he designed) just over a week ago and has already surpassed his goal of $20,000. (Buffa is something of a crowdfunding savant.)
