This is a guest post by LeeAnn Kinney.

Name: LeeAnn Kinney
Neighborhood: South Philly
Job: Front-end Developer at BAYADA Home Health Care
Side projects: Coordinating events for Girl Develop It Philly, adding adventures to my hiking blog Philly Hikes and becoming a bad-ass bass player once I attend Ladies Rock Camp in a few weeks.
Here’s where I’ll be during #PTW15:

1. EvoHaX: Hack to Change Lives!

I am a major advocate for web accessibility and was invited to speak at this college student-focused hackathon. I’m looking forward to hearing from other accessibility advocates and experts on opening night and seeing the valuable, community-building projects that come out of it. (Friday, April 17-Sunday, April 19)

2. 4th Annual Women in Tech Summit

Philly Women in Tech Summit is a fantastic event that brings together women working in Philadelphia’s tech scene. A combination of talks, panels and tech workshops, it’s a great way to learn and meet other like-minded ladies in the industry. (Saturday, April 18, 8:45 a.m.-5 p.m.)

3. The Rad Awards

I’m so excited to attend this event hosted by Rad Girls, which celebrates women in tech, media, culture and business, and the amazing things they’re doing in our city. It will be really empowering. (Saturday, April 18, 7-10 p.m.)

4. Girl Develop It Philly Rise & Shine

I may be biased about this one since I’m the organizer, but our monthly Rise & Shines are not to be missed. Connecting with other women in the local tech community over coffee is really the best way to start the day. Come meet with other Girl Develop It members, talk about the Philly Tech Week events you’ll be attending, and maybe even make plans to go together! (Tuesday, April 21, 7-9 a.m.)

5. Beyond the Blog: Leveraging Your Digital Profile

I know I’ll get a lot out of this panel of influential bloggers, while learning how to take my blog to the next level. (Tuesday, April 21, 5:30-7:30 p.m.)

6. Dev Day Intro Workshops & Talks

I’m always trying to learn as much as possible, so I love intro days like this one. You’ll probably find me in the Intro to Python workshop first. Then, I can’t wait to hear from local dev experts, especially Tom Wlodkowski and his role with accessibility at Comcast. (Thursday, April 23, 8 a.m.-9:30 p.m.)
