Get a bird’s eye view of the historic-but-dilapidated Delaware Station Power Plant in a brand-new video by Michael James Murray, cofounder of Philadelphia-based Out of Town Films and a freelance director of photography for VICE.

The crumbling power station sits near Penn Treaty Park in Fishtown. Read more about its history in this Inga Saffron column.

The video was shot in 4K. Make sure to switch the settings to HD.

Very cool. BTW, Anyone know what all that stuff is in the river up against the old plant? Looks like a ton of litter.

Definitely ice. I was there shooting myself that day and was excited to see this video pop up in my Facebook feed, as I spoke to these guys while they were flying the drones. Nice guys, awesome equipment. And it’s interesting to see how different people’s activities overlap. In the video, you’ll see a red tanker being pushed upriver by a tug. I was right there at the edge shooting long exposures that day and caught the tug in my own shot.
