You can get free stuff on Wawa’s new app

Wawa knows what everybody loves: everybody loves free stuff.

Oh, Wawa. You’ll always be the coolest.
After a succesful summer pilot, Wawa has made its new app available for free for both iOS and Android devices. The app locates the nearest Wawa, checks gas prices and the nutritional value of Wawa products. It even has social media integration.

But the best feature? Free stuff.
OK, not like “free” free, but more along the lines of “spend $50 and then get free stuff” free. Here’s how it works:

  • Download that app.
  • Buy a reloadable Wawa gift card.
  • Link that gift card to your Wawa app.
  • Buy $50 worth of stuff from Wawa.

Now for the cool part. Wawa keeps track of the products you’re buying, so once you reach that $50 mark, Wawa offers you free rewards based on previous purchases.
“The idea is to really deepen and strengthen the relationship we already have with our customer, how to better understand, to better serve them so we can surprise and delight them with the things we like to do,” Wawa Public Relations Manager Lori Bruce told the Delco Times.
