Can helping college entrepreneurs slow tech brain drain? [Technical.ly Podcast]

Ahead of next week's Start. Stay. Grow. Summit in Philadelphia, this month's Technical.ly Podcast explores efforts to hang on to young entrepreneurs after they graduate.

If you want to keep talent in Philadelphia after college, why not get all the young entrepreneurs and tech-minded folk in one room, introduce them to each other and showcase what the local tech scene has to offer?

That’s the idea behind the Start. Stay. Grow. Summit, an event that Technical.ly Philly is co-organizing with Philly Startup Leaders and other local players.

As we hear in this month’s Technical.ly Podcast, the goal of the Start. Stay. Grow. Summit is to connect college-age technologists with the city’s broader tech community.

The free event will be held Tuesday, Sept. 9 at CityCoHo.

It was just one of several topics touched on in this month’s podcast, which focuses on talent retention in cities across the East Coast.

Also of Philly relevance: we spoke to a whole slew of Wharton students to find out if they plan to stay in Philly after graduation.
