Local designers raise $45k for magnetic clipboard they created

Two local designers created a better clipboard, and they’ve raised more than $45,000 on Kickstarter to fund the project.

The fixes are almost laughably simple, which is what makes them smart: a magnetic hinge keeps papers in place and a hard cover keeps them smooth.
