World’s largest version of 80s era electronic memory game ‘Simon’ [VIDEO]

Maybe one of Philly’s claims to fame could be the home of world’s largest video games.

Three staffers from radio conglomerate Greater Media Philadelphia built an oversized version of the 80s-era electronic memory game, PhillyMag reported.

Photographer HughE Dillon shot video of the spectacle.

The game actually has a Philly tie, Wharton Computing staffer Tim Allen pointed out: “The assembly code on the chip was programmed by Dr. Charles Kapps, who taught computer science at Temple, and literally wrote the book on computer programming.”
