Philly Tech Week 2013 Presented by AT&T Entrepreneurship/Investment

Preview some of the Entrepreneurship/Investment events that will occur during Philly Tech Week.

From last year's Switch Philly during Philly Tech Week.

In the weeks leading up to Philly Tech Week Presented by AT&T, we'll be highlighting events from each of our five tracks. Find the Access/Policy track preview here.

Talk customer engagement with Warby Parker cofounder Neil Blumenthal. Discuss how to support Philly entrepreneurs, then act on it. See what’s cooking in Philly’s edtech scene. Celebrate Ben Franklin Technology Partner/SEP‘s 30th anniversary at one of the year’s largest tech startups events.

Do all of those things and more at events on the Entrepreneurship/Investment track of the third annual Philly Tech Week Presented by AT&T. Track sponsors include Morgan Lewis, BFTP and Safeguard Scientifics.

Check out some highlights below. Get the full calendar of Entrepreneurship/Investment track events here.

  • Warby Parker CoFounder – Customers in Focus [Friday, April 26, 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.] Organized by the Chamber of Commerce and PACT, Warby Parker cofounder and Wharton grad Neil Blumenthal will kick off this panel on customer engagement by telling the story behind his successful ecommerce shop.
  • Entrepreneurship & Investment in Philadelphia with Ben Franklin Technology Partners/SEP [Friday, April 26, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.] The biggest entrepreneurship and investment event of the week, this one has everything: speed networking, lightning talks, a panel on strengthening the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and finally, prompts to get everyone collaborating and brainstorming.
  • Entrepreneur Expo 2013 [Wednesday, April 24, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.] Philly Startup Leaders’ trade show-esque event will feature more than 40 local startups this year.
  • Switch Philly: EdTech [Tuesday, April 23, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.] The annual startup demo competition is all about edtech this year. Five edtech projects from last weekend’s AT&T EduTech Hackathon will battle it out for a prize pack.
