Join Technically Philly for a special preview of the third annual Philly Tech Week presented by AT&T next Wednesday, April 3 from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at the Quorum at University City Science Center.
This event will offer brief lightning intros to some of the exciting things happening across the five tracks in which the week’s 80+ events are categorized: Arts/Creative, Access/Policy, Design/Development, Entrepreneurship/Investment and Media/Transparency.
Presenters include PCVB’s Danielle Cohn and young game developer Zora Ball. There will also be the announcement of a major interactive public digital arts display that will kick off PTW13. (Hint: you’re going to want to pencil in the evening of Friday, April 19)
Following those brief talks, a panel of national tech reporters will discuss national trends in technology and innovation — and how Philly fits into it all. Christopher Wink will moderate a discussion with the following journalists:
- Erica Ogg of GigaOM
- Timothy B. Lee of Ars Technica
- John-Paul Titlow of ReadWrite
- Chris Grant of Polygon
