The Backyard Philly Project tells the stories of four teens living in public housing at 6th and Green Streets, using footage the teens shot themselves. It’ll debut on May 11 at Drexel’s URBN Center.

From local socially-minded production company Ferasha Films, the film feels especially timely taken with the recent report that out of the country’s biggest cities, Philly has the highest rate of people living in deep poverty (below half the poverty line). Watch the trailer below.
