PhillyMag’s Best of Philly 2012: tech scene nods

It’s that time of the year again — when PhillyMag names its picks for all the best stuff in Philly. Feel free to gripe in the comments about those they missed.

Out of the 346 winners, here are several that are (mostly) relevant to our community (PhillyMag did give a shout to chef George Sabatino’s Instagram — does that count?):

• Best Laundry Service: sustainable laundry startup Wash Cycle Laundry, which is participating in GoodCompany Ventures’ current class
• Best Public Service: the court system scraper Philly Rap Sheet created by Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reporter Andrew McGill
• Best Resource for Beer Snobs: Philly Tap Finder, which we’ll be featuring on our site tomorrow
• Best Reason to Never Ride in a Cab Again: Uber, with barely two months on the scene
• Best Computer Techs: Springboard Media, who just expanded last month
• Best Geeky Fun: Barcade, where we hosted our #notatSXSW party
