Monetate plans on growing its staff to more than 150 this year

Monetate CEO and founder David Brussin won this year’s Ernst & Young Emerging Entrepreneur Award last week. But here’s an even bigger accomplishment: Brussin’s Conshohocken-based e-commerce optimization company plans on expanding to over 150 employees this year, they say.

Monetate, part of Philly’s quickly growing e-commerce scene, plans on hiring 60 people this year to add on to its staff of over 100 employees, says Vice President of Marketing Blair Lyon through a spokesman. When we last spoke with Brussin this past March, the company was at 90 employees and is getting national attention. Recently, Monetate sent its recruiters to Philly UNCUBED in hopes of filling 21 positions.
