Princeton-based startup DoughMain received an investment from the family of former Chairman and CEO of Chrysler Corporation and President of Ford Motor company Lee Iacocca, according to a DoughMain press release. This investment starts the second round of funding for the children’s financial education site since its August 2011 launch.

TechCrunch reports that DreamIT Ventures and Project Liberty alum SnipSnap has just finished a $900,000 angel round “led by Philadelphia-based MentorTech Ventures and Kynetic CEO Michael Rubin” and sheds light on the couponing app’s next moves.

Philly startup Fit of Passion, which wants to make shopping for jeans easier, also gets some face time on TechCrunch after meeting the TechCrunch crew at its mini meetup.

Monetate is featured in a New York Times piece on the growing trend of e-commerce optimization, or what the Times calls “e-tailer customization.” The article weighs the potential downsides to targeted marketing, like spooking your customer-base, and uses some of Monetate’s clients as a case study.
