According to the latest MoneyTree report, Philadelphia investment in 2010 was at a 14-year low. However, national numbers were up in 2010. Though calling the numbers “down” is a of an overstatement, as total investment dollars were only down $5 million from 2009 to 2010 or roughly less than two percent drop.

DreamIt Ventures vet Parse.ly has closed $800,000 in angel investment from multiple sources, including Philadelphia-based Invite Media co-founder Scott Becker. The company is currently based out of The 67th Ward.
