The Washington Post reports that the FCC has appointed John Flynn, general counsel of ICO Global Communications, to lead the review of Comcast’s acquisition of NBC. Reuters reports that the move will let the FCC focus on other issues during the lengthy regulatory approval.
The Silicon Alley Insider charts the money spent on lobbying in 2009 by major technology companies, including Comcast’s $13 million, nearly four tenths of a percent four percent of its overall revenue.
