Ted Mann is an entrepreneur and startup executive. He launched the collectables app venture CollX in January 2022.
Ted was the CEO of Slyce, the market leader in image recognition and visual search for retail. The Slyce scanner is embedded, as a camera-search function, in apps for Nordstrom, Home Depot, Best Buy, and 20 other major US retailers.
Prior to leading Slyce, Ted cofounded and was CEO of SnipSnap, the first app to let users scan and redeem printed coupons on their smartphones. SnipSnap continues to be a leader in the mobile-coupon space, with a profitable business and more than 100 retailers that utilize their services to feature and promote their digital and in-store offers.
Prior to SnipSnap, Ted was digital director at Gannett, the largest newspaper publisher in the United States, where he launched several digital ventures, including a daily deal network, InJersey hyperlocal sites, and over 200 blogs and podcasts.
