Steve Welch is a cofounder of DreamIt Ventures and former Republican candidate for Pennsylvania’s 6th Congressional District. He is a founder of KinderTown, a learning games startup. In 2008, he was recognized as the 2008 Philadelphia Business Journal’s Entrepreneur of the Year for his work with Mitos Group, a biotech startup from which he successfully exited from in 2007. Welch grew up in Chester County and attended local public schools.
