Mark Headd is a speaker and technology executive specializing in open government and civic access.
Self taught in programming, he has worked with a variety of state and local governments to expose its data and information with private sector developers. In August 2012, he was named the first City of Philadelphia Chief Data Officer. He had previously been Director of Government Relations at Code for America and worked in New York and Delaware state government, in addition to technical evangelism for a variety of IT firms.
