Jay Coen Gilbert is an entrepreneur and prominent advocate for social entrepreneurship. In June 2006, he cofounded B Lab, an organization that certified ‘benefit corporations,’ which are socially-minded, ‘triple-bottom line’ businesses. From May 1993 until May 2005, he worked at AND1, the popular athletic wear company he cofounded.
The 1989 graduate of Stanford University is also a former McKinsey & Associates analyst.
