If Harris takes the baton, Shapiro could be No. 2

Joe Biden ended his reelection campaign and endorsed VP Kamala Harris. If she gets the Democratic party’s nomination, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro could be selected as her running mate.

The name of our governor has been in this conversation for a while, even before Biden dropped out: A Harris-Shapiro ticket was one of the choices in a poll last week and it beat a Trump-Vance ticket by one percentage point.

Why Benefits Data Trust fell apart

With a $30M annual budget, a healthy-looking audit and government contracts across seven states, Benefits Data Trust shocked the nonprofit world by announcing it would shut down. But the news wasn’t that surprising to insiders, several staffers and former leadership told Technical.ly.

Simply put, the nonprofit was spending more money than it brought in; one source said expenses were 2x revenue. Whose fault was it? That’s the key question — and still a matter of debate.
