HouseCall VR pivots to the doctor’s office

When we first explored HouseCallVR, it was an educational healthcare hub in Meta Horizon Worlds.

Today, the platform lives on PICO and is designed to educate patients about their condition and medications in a doctor’s office, clinic or pharmacy.

NextFab downsizes with South Philly closure

NextFab, which shuttered its Wilmington makerspace in 2023, will close its South Philly space at the end of the year.

It will continue to serve its members, including those in Delaware, at its North Philly location. The move is part of a pivot away from the dwindling hardware focus of South Philly to the artisan focus of North Philly.
