• Data shows that local storytelling boosts regions’ economies. [Technical.ly]

• Maryland-based research institutions and companies received $18 million in grants from the Maryland Stem Cell Research Commission to advance stem cell and regenerative medicine research. [TEDCO]

• A warehouse fire in West Baltimore called 200 firefighters to the scene early this week, and investigations are underway as to what caused the blaze. The fire displaced residents and caused major delays to Amtrak services and the MARC. [CBS]
