The candidate will be responsible for the testing of our customer-facing web site, front-end applications, APIs and other customer facing initiatives and applications. We’re seeking a quality assurance test engineer who is a self starter with a positive attitude and a passion for testing to build upon our existing reputation with an unwavering commitment to meticulous production. The ideal candidate is an exceptionally organized, methodical professional with the experience necessary to take our products to the next level with respect to accuracy, security, and safety. You will be responsible for safeguarding the quality of our products, but also fostering a “quality culture”, in which all employees become actively engaged in guaranteeing quality in both production and the finished product.
What You’ll Do
Work cross-functionally with Product Managers, UI/UX designers, and Engineers (front-end, back-end, full stack, IOS, Android) including off-shore distributed team members
Participate in and contribute to all team activities (planning, grooming, stand-ups, retrospectives)
Create, modify, implement and execute test cases/test plans for existing and newly developed features and modules
Work within automation testing frameworks using Java, Selenium, Cucumber/Gherkin, Object Oriented concepts and Behavior Driven approaches
Perform regression and smoke testing of software product releases and report test results
Automate regression testing, including continual analysis, triage, and maintenance of tests
Identify, investigate, and escalate quality issues
Bug life cycle management – defect tracking, defect reporting, defect analysis and defect verification
Who We’re Looking For
Preferred 3+ years software quality assurance experience in a collaborative team environment
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Excellent time management / task estimation skills
