About the position:

Technical.ly is seeking a highly organized, passionate time manager who is a master communicator.

The Client Success Manager will be the “compass” for Technical.ly’s Product and Creative offerings. Keeping the Product team on the path defined by a quarterly roadmap as well as by client deliverables, this role will be responsible for tracking progress and ensuring execution. This role will communicate between clients and creative staff, establish timelines, make estimates on both costs and time as well as track costs and time.

A great candidate would have extensive experience in the production management and execution of creative work for clients. Ideally your experience has touched on some form of employer branding, talent attraction or recruitment marketing, as this is the primary focus of our product offering.

The Client Success Manager sits with the Product team and reports to the Chief Product Officer. Technical.ly’s Product team should not be confused with our editorial department, which is a standalone newsroom with our reporters and editors. The product team focuses on developing experiences, product and service offerings that will benefit the community we serve in the markets we report on. We are passionate about the opportunity to change lives by introducing our readers to their next great career move, and we are supported by providing talent attraction services to the hiring organizations of the future.

This is a full-time salaried role and will include support for health insurance, which includes vision and dental benefits. We offer three weeks (15 days) of Paid Time Off to begin, with the addition of one more for each day of service.  Additionally, we offer 9 paid holidays, available flex time, a flexible and fun work environment, a monthly IT stipend and access to a company 401(k) plan. You will report to our Chief Product Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Weekly Product Standup; Update Quarterly Roadmap with deadlines; Drive team use of our task management tool, Asana
  • Appear on Post-Sale Client Calls
  • Influence Custom Deal Pricing
  • Define scope of project with client and sales team
  • Works with the Sales and Product staff to estimate, schedule, allocate resources and develop projects such as Sponsored Content, Storytelling and customized talent solutions for clients.
  • Share key deadlines, dates and logistics between client, Product and Sales teams
  • Manages time and financial resources to ensure projects are on time and on budget
  • Daily and weekly tracking of client deliverables; quarterly tracking of longer term goals
  • Communicate program and contract changes to clients and provide customer service as necessary
  • Review contracts with Sales staff to ensure delivery of services through Events and Editorial teams
  • Help us to remain on target but also get creative when working with the Product team to address client challenges. Provide ideas, think critically
  • Understand challenges in talent acquisition and recognize the types of solutions that can be offered to address them
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience – treat clients as partners; ensure they know we’re invested in their success

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of project management and client success experience, ideally in an agency or tech environment
  • Experience within talent attraction/employer brand/recruitment marketing ideal
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Efficient and clear communicator – never hesitates to reach out to inform; always researches questions first before reaching out to ask
  • Self-starter

Other information:

  • Work out of our Philadelphia-based offices (Washington Square).
  • Must be available for limited evenings and weekends as required for events and other activities, though other hours are flexible.
