As an Account Executive (“AE”) in New York City or Washington, D.C. you will support the New York or D.C. market as well as other cities around the US. AE’s interact with clients and venues to recommend the best venues for their particular event, and to help facilitate event bookings. Since we’re a small team, your role will also encompass administrative, marketing and business development support. Our office in NYC is Flatiron in a really great neighborhood, easily accessible by multiple subways & the Path trains. Our office in D.C. is next to the White House in a WeWork office easily accessible by metro in downtown D.C. Desired start date is between May 15-June 1

– Respond quickly to event leads from clients and recommend venues based on their parameters
– Keep the life cycle of your events pipeline updated in Salesforce
– Work directly with Restaurant Private Event Managers; checking availability, communicating client needs and managing bookings through SixPlus
– Prospect new restaurant partners in neighborhoods when needed
– Communicate new restaurant leads with Venue Partnerships Team
– Educate clients and venues on how to use the SixPlus platform

You:
– extremely organized and detail-oriented (inbox zero?)
– enjoy talking to people on the phone
– comfortable picking up new software tools & technology
– calm under pressure and able to prioritize when lots of things are competing for your time
– willing to learn anything and adapt quickly as the needs of the role evolve
– flexible and willing to respond to clients when necessary
– personable and have great phone and email etiquette
– a self-starter and enjoy a multi-faceted role
– comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) + respective Google versions (Sheets, Slides, Docs)

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree
– 1-3 years work experience
– Restaurant, Event Planning or Professional Services experience a plus
