We have an immediate need for a Sales Development Representative who is excited to be a part of challenging projects and defining the future of safety and security for intelligent and autonomous machines.

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for calling prospective business leads.  You will share our value proposition and set business meetings in partnership with members of our Business Development team.  This position will maintain our prospect database as well as sustain working relationships with the prospective leads.  The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and can identify and reach out to key decision makers in businesses.

Fort Robotics Sales Development Representatives will perform outbound lead generation and nurturing through calling on cold and warm lead sources and are the first impression of our client experience. Our Sales Development Representatives generate interest in our solutions with the C-Suite or Decision Makers of prospects and work in partnership with our outside sales team to acquire new clients for our growing and thriving business. You will field inbound and funnel outbound leads.

What you will do:

  • Set qualified appointments between prospective clients and our Field Sales Team
  • Perform outbound calls to new and existing qualified prospects
  • Identify the right decision-makers of our prospective client base
  • Nurture warm lead sources through effective follow up activity
  • Build trusting relationships with prospects through effective communication
  • Update and maintain the CRM database with accurate information
  • Effectively manage tasks and follow ups

What you need to be successful:

  • Minimum of 2 Years of telephone sales, customer service or call center experience
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to meet and exceed activity and sales goals
  • Organizational, time management skills, and attention to detail
  • Excellent and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Outlook, and internet functions
  • Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills
  • Self-motivated individual with a desire to succeed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
