Senior React Developer

Restless Labs is looking for a Senior React developer. As consultants, we work across a variety of domains and technologies. For this reason, our developers must stay on top of the latest trends and be interested and motivated to learn new tech regularly. Even though this role requires a specialization in React, being a right fit for Restless Labs is less about what you know now, and more about your ability to learn what comes next. A solid foundation in key principles, practices, and patterns of software development is a must.

This role will often involve direct contact with clients in integrated teams, so effective soft skills are necessary. Being able to easily communicate plans, goals, concerns/recommendations and technical issues is crucial. Candidates should be able to tactfully and skillfully navigate disagreements on the job, effectively steering a client to a better solution without creating conflict.

You should….

• Be an experienced React developer, passionate about your craft
• Comfortable with Flux/Redux
• Be proficient in modern web dev technology (HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, NodeJS, etc)
• Be comfortable teaching yourself new things
• Be able to not only follow, but identify best practices
• Be technology agnostic – using the right tool for the job vs. what you are familiar with
• Be highly proficient with modern source control (i.e. Git)
• Be comfortable with the principles of Agile
• Be comfortable interfacing with clients on integrated teams
• Have excellent communication skills – able to speak about technology with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Be comfortable working from home

It would be great if you…

• Are a full-stack developer
• Have broad experiences in a variety of technologies and/or paradigms
• Are experienced and/or comfortable designing technical solutions/architecture
• Are comfortable/experienced leading a team and/or teaching/mentoring
• Have prior consulting experience
• Have strong JavaScript skills
• Have notable experience with other JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue.js)
• Have experience with JSS and/or CSS preprocessors (SASS, SCSS, Less, PostCSS, etc.)
• Have experience with Ionic
• Have experience with native iOS and/or Android development
• Have experience with development on the Salesforce platform
