As an Account Executive specializing in Practice, you will play a critical role in driving our growth and continued success. What you will be doing:

  • Build strong relationships utilizing value-based selling skills
  • Use your extensive sales experience and consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with prospective customers
  • Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data
  • Provide value-added counsel to customers as a trusted advisor creating awareness and demand for Instructure products
  • Unearthing new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships
  • Helping to refine lead/pipeline generation strategy that will improve sales effectiveness
  • Demoing Practice’s learning solution
  • Communicating with cross-functional teams

Here’s what you will need to know/have:

  • 2-5 years of software sales experience. Bonus points if you’ve also worked in Learning, Development, Talent Management or Education (love you teachers!)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A quantifiable track record of meeting/exceeding quotas
  • Strong desire to work within a team oriented environment and be a self – starter
  • Be motivated and have the desire to reach call goals and sales goals on a daily basis
  • Positive attitude, energetic, upbeat and professional
  • Track record of quickly learning new skills and immediately putting them to use
  • Ability to be effective in an unstructured environment
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and that of the company
