As a(n) Enterprise Engineer Sr within PNC's Enterprise Technology & Security (ET&S) organization, you will be part of the Network Security Engineering team.
This is a remote position and can sit anywhere within the PNC footprint, except for Colorado, Hawaii, Alaska. There is limited expectation for regular in person, in office activities.
The ET&S organization is looking for a creative and driven engineer with strong technical and programming skills. In this role you will held design and develop applications to automate functions used within complicated zero trust initiatives like micro segmentation.
Requirements-gathering, architecting, and designing infrastructure systems and tools
Developing software systems in Python
Detailed knowledge of operating system fundamentals, as well as experience in the design of libraries and software systems.
Writing scripts and tools to automate processes

Problem Solving – Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Standard Operating Procedures – Knowledge of and ability to design, implement and evaluate standard operating procedures affecting daily and strategic business operations in order to increase operational efficiency.
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
