We’re looking for an experienced user acquisition professional with a passion for marketing, user acquisition and mobile games. This role will take the lead with our growth marketing and user acquisition strategies. You will also support the marketing team’s efforts by handling our current player acquisition campaigns, coordinate with the art team to come up with the next eye catching creative, and manage budgets and marketing strategies. Your main duties include managing user acquisition campaigns across multiple free-to-play mobile titles, improving key performance indicators, and working cross-department to collaborate on new initiatives. In this role, you will be the expert in User Acquisition for our mobile games! You will create and manage partnerships with key UA platforms to develop and drive UA strategies, onboard new channels and execute critical user acquisition campaigns. You will manage a 6-figure monthly budget and be a part of a collaborative mobile game studio that rewards both team and individual success!

As a growth marketing manager your job is to find the channels and strategies to increase performance and help grow our games.

Responsibilities

  • Building and managing paid user acquisition campaigns across multiple channels, including AdWords, Apple Search, Social Media, and Ad Networks.
  • Conduct thorough and deep analysis to optimize mobile marketing campaigns to acquire and engage users at a large scale.
  • Leverage 3rd party mobile attribution and analytics to measure, evaluate, optimize and develop media strategies.
  • Develop A/B testing programs to maximize acquisition efforts and ROI.
  • Help shape our marketing efforts through a mix of data analysis and campaign management
  • Work with cross functional team to establish growth strategies to support Absolute Games’ KPI goals.
  • Conceive and execute on a wide range of content campaigns to drive performance and player engagement and retention.
  • Manage ASO.
  • Manage SEO.
  • Analyze data to monitor performance and uncover areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present recommendations, reports, and findings from experimental data all the way up to the executive level.

Qualifications

  • Subject Matter Expertise: You have deep experience in media buying for mobile apps or a SEM (Google/Bing/Apple) on either desktop or mobile apps. Experience with Free-to-Play games a plus.
  • Metric driven. You’re comfortable performing campaign analysis, reporting results and discovering trends.
  • You enjoy making a measurable impact on your team and the company. You are a self-starter who can work with limited oversight and takes ownership of your channels and campaigns.
  • Solid project management skills: ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners, prioritize high impact activities, and keep complex projects moving forward.
  • Strong growth track record, with samples and results of past campaigns.
  • Outstanding written, oral and organizational ability.
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, major ASO, SEO, and advertising platforms
  • Proficient with data and analytics in a growth marketing environment.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in SEO, user acquisition, and growth marketing.

Most importantly, we look for people who are curious. We’re not looking for code monkeys, we’re looking for people who can solve problems.

The government doesn’t stop, so regulations are constantly changing. That means that a great feature we implement today may need to change to fit new requirements tomorrow. You have to be adaptable to those sorts of changes.

What are your 2021 plans for growth?

We’re currently headquartered in Philadelphia with offices in Cherry Hill, NJ and Las Vegas, NV. We’re looking to double in size, responsibly, over the course of the year.

Specifically, we’re looking to fill roles across engineering, mobile, front-end, data, cloud, QA, product, design, marketing, and CRM analytics.

 

As a company that has grown so big, so fast, talk to us about how the internal work culture has shifted.

The engineering team used to feel like a startup, but today it feels more like a real company, not because we have a big corporate feel, but we’ve implemented more official processes.

With 50-60 employees, the engineering team is still small enough to get to know most people and work collaboratively. We also work with other teams, but our processes allow each team to have autonomy over their part of the product so that they can put their own touch on things.

Part of our culture is that we’re open to the fact that new ideas come from anywhere. Any employee can draw up a proof of concept and build a demo. If we see value in it, we can implement it the very next day. With our pace of change, you’re able to improve the process and the end product very quickly. It’s exciting. We love to learn about new technology and frameworks.
