L3 MSP Engineer

Midnight Blue is looking for a Level 3 Senior System Engineer who will manage client networks, resolve technical incidents, and provide great customer service. This is an on-site opportunity in Pittsburgh, PA.

*What you’ll do:*
* Set up, configure, and troubleshoot servers, computers, and networking equipment
* Be a top-level escalation point to solve or provide guidance on complex troubleshooting tasks
* Sales Engineering – Network and security recommendations and scoping
* Provide root cause analysis and recommendations for solutions to ongoing issues
* Create documentation and provide feedback on existing documentation
* Work in a flexible and collaborative manner

*Skills you’ll need:*
* Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
* Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
* Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
* Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server)
* Experience in configuring and managing various server roles, such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file services
* Familiarity with endpoint security solutions EDR tools, and MDM platforms
* Skills in implementing and managing network security measures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies
* Experience in migrating on-premises infrastructure to the cloud and integrating cloud services with existing systems
* Understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and best practices for cloud security and compliance
