*Enterprise Architect*
*Fully Remote (EST)*

The Enterprise Architect translates business needs into technical systems solutions and architectural roadmaps. The work assignments range from straightforward to high complexity, integrating hardware, software, and network interfaces to form a cohesive system. The Enterprise Architect leverages Humana Principles, Standards, Policies, and Frameworks to build reference architecture at both the logical and physical levels, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices. This role encompasses cloud (Azure, GCP), on-premises, and SaaS platforms, utilizing Humana’s North Star Architecture for data storage and transactions.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Translate business needs into technical systems solutions and architectural roadmaps.
* Integrate hardware, software, and network interfaces to form a cohesive system.
* Build reference architecture at logical and physical levels, aligning with industry standards and best practices.
* Work with cloud (Azure, GCP), on-premises, and SaaS platforms.
* Leverage Humana’s North Star Architecture for data storage and transactions.
* Recommend products to evolve the organization’s technical infrastructure.
* Provide professional leadership in developing the organization’s technical and architectural staff.
* Understand and apply professional concepts, standards, regulations, strategies, and operating standards.
* Make decisions regarding work approach and priorities, following direction and guidelines.
* Manage work often guided by precedent, documented procedures, regulations, and professional standards.
*Required Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* More than 2 years of technical experience.
* Progressive experience as a senior architect or technical lead in large IT projects spanning multiple enterprise systems.
* 1 or more years of experience in design, development, and testing of software applications.
* Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
