About Our Role

i4DM is looking for a dynamic and versatile Solution Lead to join our team. Our Solution Lead will play a pivotal role in engaging with our customers to understand their project goals, pain points, initiatives, and timelines to solution and scope Federal information technology service projects for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role requires a blend of technical acumen and consultative prowess, with the ability to craft solution architectures and create detailed scope documents, particularly with LCNC platforms, such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Pega, Box, and Appian. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be the first point of contact for our clients and serve as a bridge to technical delivery teams, ensuring that client needs are met with precision and care.

Responsibilities

Conduct research to develop an understanding of the clients’ stakeholders and motivations, challenges, current state, desired state, technical environment, and preferences.
Engage with customers to create comprehensive scope documents, including detailed activities, initiatives, RAID items, timelines, and associated staffing profiles.
Develop solution architectures or high-level application diagrams, with a focus on LCNC platforms, including, but not limited to, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Pega, Box, and Appian
Leverage out-of-the-box tools before proposing architectures that require custom code
Maintain a current understanding of the Federal market and latest technology and processes with a focus on DevSecOps, DataOps, and Cybersecurity.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing consultative guidance and strong communication for the program
Identify data trends, ask key questions, and drive root cause analysis of issues/problems – synthesize and develop real requirements/actions
Analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
Work closely with LCNC administrators and developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Contribute to creation and development of multiple projects within Agile development methodologies and development best practices to ensure the quality instantiation of enterprise solutions

Qualifications

Proven experience in a Solution Architect or similar role, with strong understanding of architecture, capture, and delivery processes
An ideal candidate has served as Business Analyst, Admin, Developer, or Architect on a large LCNC implementation
Technical proficiency with LCNC platforms, modular architectures, reusable software frameworks, solution design, and requirements elaboration
Strong consultative, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and translate their needs into actionable solutions
Experience creating detailed scope documents and managing tight deadlines
Ability to develop solution architecture diagrams for LCNC technologies, including data integrations, identity and access management (IAM) controls, CI/CD practices, and user-centered design
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Proven ability to build, manage, and foster a team-oriented environment
Professional of unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Certifications in Business Analysis, Project Management, Agile Scrum, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Pega, or Appian are a plus
Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply
Candidates will need to obtain a Security Clearance of Public Trust once hired
