As a Senior Project Manager at Odessa, you’ll be the point person for our platform implementations. With our builds lasting 12 to 24 months, you will bring experience in similar time frames, experience in software and familiarity with agency formats. Ideally you’d have some industry (leasing and finance) experience as well. Last but not least, you’d also bring a desire to enjoy your job and the people you work with!

Core Responsibilities

  • Direct Project Management of strategic IT implementation efforts generally lasting twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) months. Ability to manage all project aspects from Initiation to Closeout.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining PMO best practices, methodologies, templates, processes and policies
  • Design and build work breakdown structures; prepare charts, graphs and diagrams to assist in analyzing progress and opportunities
  • Supports the SVP of Program Management with management of Project Management staff
  • Prepare management plans and reports; coordinate schedules to facilitate completion of deliverables, presentations and formal Project Reviews
  • Perform horizontal integration planning between core products and other functional systems
  • Direct interface with key client stakeholders with proven ability to understand client needs and translates those needs into a productive, long-term business relationships
  • Responsible for identifying and executing opportunities to generate revenue to meet established revenue targets
  • Understanding of entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) for each client installation and the associated complexities and dependencies, including data migration, system integrations and user testing
  • Familiarity with web technologies (.NET, web services), server and operating environments, database and hardware terminology

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics / Computer Science-MIS /Business Administration or similar
  • Master’s degree helpful, but not required
  • Understanding of Financial / Managerial accounting
  • Ability to travel approximately 30%
  • Strong entrepreneurial attitude and ability to work in a challenging and rigorous environment
  • 7-10 years’ experience managing software implementation projects
  • 5 years’ experience in consulting/agency formats
  • PMP certification, or ability to obtain PMP certification required
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum preferred but not required
