In this role, you will showcase your ability to effectively communicate with Global IT teams as you develop long term technology roadmaps and lead development and implementation of a CI/CD pipeline strategy. You will also provide the appropriate oversight of process standards to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, as you create automation for speed of delivery and consistent alignment with technical standards and IT best practices.

You will need to bring a well-established background in management of enterprise class infrastructure solutions, design and delivery as well as a proven ability to collaborate and build relationships with global technology teams and business stakeholders.

Other relevant technical skills include:

  • prior experience with migrating solutions from on-premise data centers to public & private cloud environments
  • proficiency with defining, achieving and updating strategic objectives whilst maintaining a secure, highly available, flexible and scalable environment
  • ability to lead or support the full project management life cycle
  • experience implementing and supporting developer tool solutions (Ansible, Jenkins, Docker)
  • technical certifications are preferred. Splunk, Networking, Windows, RHEL, etc. with AWS and other Cloud related certifications being strongly preferred.

What kind of technology do you build?

Our teams create and maintain the technology which supports our business and capabilities across a range of activities. Our systems are built to manage end-to-end processes in an agile, secure and scalable manner. The tech teams often work in partnership with clients to constantly provide tech solutions that fit their needs.

What do you look for from tech candidates?

We really look for a problem-solving mindset vs. experience or skills in a specific language or framework. We want to see how you look at a problem and approach solving innovative and challenging technology projects.

Candidates don’t have to have experience in financial services, but you should be able to follow a client as they talk about the markets. As you will work closely with our investment managers, you’ll need to understand the business context in which we operate.

We’re also looking for people who are curious and not afraid to ask questions. We’re a culture that loves new ideas. We want people who will challenge us, our business and the way we’ve always done things.

What types of roles are you looking to fill?

Right now, we are looking for:

     ● Full-stack DevOps engineers

     ● Tech leads who are hands-on managers

How do you approach growth and learning?

It’s very organic and aligns with our culture of opportunity. We work in smaller teams, so everyone has a chance to get their hands in a little bit of everything, including different parts of the business that you might not be trained in but are interested in learning more about.
